Welcome. I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur.

We work on fundamental and applied problems. Our present focus is on:

(1) thermomechanics-based nondestructive evaluation

(2) acoustic metamaterials

(3) biomimetic design for soft robots

(4) instrumentation using computer vision

(5) multifunctional biodegradable materials
