About me
I am a Mechanical Engineer and an applied Materials Scientist. So far, I worked on interdisciplinary problems. Computationally, I studied thermomechanics of steels, eddy-current thermography, thin films as phononic and photonic crystals. Experimentally, I fabricated inhomogeneous Parylene-C thin films and studied their multifunctional behaviour. My current work is in these areas.

Since joining IIT Kanpur, I have been an active member of The Indian Society of Applied Mechanics (a website I made); Mechanical Engineering Division, The Institution of Engineers (India); The Indian Society for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics; Indian Society for Non-Destructive Testing; and Acoustical Society of India
